Position:  Associate Director of HR

Location: Ashford, Kent


Integrated Care 24 Ltd is a major ‘not for profit’ Gold Social Enterprise; we have no shareholders and we are a staff owned organisation.  We provide a range of innovative health and social care services to around 6 million patients. As a ‘not for profit’ membership based social enterprise, we are committed to providing our patients with high quality services and as we have no shareholders, any surplus is invested back into our frontline services and the organisation, ensuring that our patients receive the highest standards of care possible.

We have considerable experience of working in complex, demographically-challenged environments and are keen for the organisation to be proactive in improving standards of care and patient safety, whilst delivering value for money in the health economies in which it operates.

To help drive our vision forward, we are seeking a talented Associate Director of Human Resources to be responsible for providing senior leadership, guidance and advice on workforce related matters across the Social Enterprise. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will provide strategic direction and leadership in all matters involving human resource management and organisational development, promoting IC24 as an excellent employer, but also ensuring that the organisation is compliant with its legal and regulatory obligations. You will lead the HR Team to provide accurate, timely and appropriate information, advice, support, coaching, mentoring and development to all our employees and stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, you will be adaptable, decisive and creative, with demonstrable leadership skills and experience, and a passion for the values of IC24. CIPD qualified, you will be educated to Masters level (or relevant qualification) or will have equivalent level of experience in a senior management role. Ideally, you will be knowledgeable in local and national NHS issues although a proven ability to learn about detailed and complex issues will be considered.

You will act as a role model for the organisation and team, working alongside others in a collaborative and solutions-focused manner, building strong commercial relationships and driving an HR strategy whilst demonstrating a commitment to service quality and value for money.

A knowledge of the duties, responsibilities and liabilities of Board Level Directors is essential as is strong commercial acumen with an overall understanding of company finances and metrics to ensure that HR is aligned with business priorities.
