Position:  Chief Executive Officer – Position successfully filled

Location:  South East England

Description:

IC24 is a major not-for-profit Social Enterprise Company, with a Head Office in Ashford, Kent, providing innovative primary care services throughout the East of England. As a solutions-based Enterprise, the organisation has a comprehensive portfolio of services including GP Out-of-Hours Primary Medical Services, NHS 111, Primary Care Support Services, Secondary Care Support, Offender Healthcare Services (Prisons and Custodial Services), IT Solutions, Pharmacy and Medicines Management and Contact Centre Services.

This is a unique and exciting time to join IC24. Over the next two years, the landscape of health and social care will change, as budgets merge and new forms of integrated services become recognised as the answer to a society needing services that, from within and outside of the NHS, are joined up and intelligently delivered. Someone exceptional is needed to lead the organisation as Chief Executive Officer through this change. Working closely with the Group Board and Executive Team, with a clear growth mandate, you will ensure the Company is positioned appropriately with stakeholders and developed to respond to the changes, whilst maintaining innovation and reputation for first-class delivery.

As Chief Executive Officer, you will lead and represent IC24 in a complex, political environment where patient safety, service quality and value for money have never been more important. You will have sound knowledge of the NHS and a proven record of successfully implementing new, improved and innovative models of care. You will be a credible leader, respected by staff and clinicians, and able to drive change across a range of services at the same time. Most importantly however, you will able to lead, build and develop a strong executive team and ensure the workforce and culture are fit for purpose for the 21st Century NHS.

Applicants that want to be part of this new future with IC24, where health and social care come together for the benefit of society, and who believe they have the appropriate profile, experience and leadership attributes for this position, are invited to make contact.

In the first instance, please contact Heather Matheson, Non-Executive Director of IC24, in confidence at Friary West, attaching your CV and advising us of your salary expectations, at heathermatheson@friarywest.co.uk.
